Outdoor Education Marathon at WUR
More Nature Deeper Education nr.4
In this fourth version of More Nature Deeper Education, we are joining the Dutch National Outdoor Education Day initiative to present a full day of outdoor classes. During this (free) event, you come and go as you like to get a taste of outdoor education and all its possibilities. The sessions showcase outdoor, relational teaching methods taught by teachers in real classrooms settings.
During lunch (12.30), the Dean of Education of Wageningen University, prof. dr. Dick de Ridder, will festively open three Outdoor Classrooms on campus. The fruit of many years of establishing the value of nature-inclusive education! Starting April 7, these three outdoor locations on campus will be available for teaching. Teachers can reserve these locations via the TimeEdit scheduling system. You can also find other interesting teaching locations on campus on the BuitenOnderwijs Campus Map.
Participation to this event is free, and you can come and go as you like, visiting the sessions you are most curious about. If you are willing and able to support the initiative and work on nature-inclusive education, we are very gratefull for your voluntary contribution.
