Image report of ECLAS 2025 in Nitra, Slovakia

DSL board members travelled to Nitra for the latest edition of the international ECLAS conference, which was held at the Slovak University of Agriculture from 6 to 10 September 2025. The conference explored the various dimensions of landscapes, including ecological, cultural, social and economic aspects, with a special focus on the theme: agriCULTURAL landscapes. The DSL board members enjoyed the various lectures, in-depth workshops and excursions and, on behalf of the Dutch and Flemish programmes, strengthened ties with the European academic network. The conference concluded with the DSL’s presentation of the next edition of the ECLAS conference, TAKE CARE, planetary landscape architecture, which will be organised by the DSL at TU Delft from 16 to 20 September 2026.
