Continuing education
The Architects Title Act stipulates that everybody who is listed as a garden and landscape designer on the Architects Register must maintain their professional knowledge at the required level. A minimum of 16 hours must be devoted to continuing education each year.

Online modules & courses
Distance learning is developing rapidly in The Netherlands. There are various possibilities to deepen or broaden knowledge. For example, TU Delft and the Amsterdam Institute for Advanced Metropolitan Solutions (AMS) offer online modules and Massive Open Online Coorses (MOOCS).
