The DSL

The DSL

The Dutch School of Landscape Architecture (DSL) is a partnership between the Dutch Association for Garden and Landscape Architecture and the training and research institutes for garden and landscape architecture in the Netherlands and Flanders:

Mission
The DSL was founded in 2010. The DSL’s mission is to ensure a strong national and international positioning of the Dutch professional practice, research and training for garden and landscape architecture. She does this, among other things, by:

  • providing a platform for quality improvement;
  • to contribute to the development and exchange of knowledge;
  • contribute to a research agenda;
  • promotion of the (inter)national network in the field of landscape architecture for work and study;
  • supporting partners in research and development;
  • formulating common projects.

The DSL distinguishes itself from other organizations because it works from the integral perspective of the Dutch field: professional practice, education and research.
